Delete your account yourself
Account deletion is built into Scriptural — the same steps work in the iOS and Android apps and on the web at scriptural.online/app:
- Sign in to your account.
- Open the menu (☰) and choose Preferences.
- Choose Account settings…
- Choose Delete Account and confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. You do not need to contact us first.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes your sign-in credentials and everything tied to your account: highlights, notes, bookmarks, prayers, reading-plan progress, streaks, preferences, generated word studies and images, and your email-subscription record. This cannot be undone.
Anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (which are not tied to a deleted account in a way that identifies you) and records we are legally required to keep (for example, a record of past donations) may be retained. Everything else is removed at deletion time.
Lost access to your account?
If you can no longer sign in (for example, you lost access to your email address), send us a deletion request through the contact form with the email address the account was created under. We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.
